Got ridiculous portion. You pay almost € 10 for food and then get 13 noodles and almost no sauce.

No reservation, but got a table very quickly on Friday evening. Food and drinks were there quickly, even though it was full. Super tasty, very nice service.

Staff is okay. Some of the food was brought cold. In the dish with the clams, only the shells were mixed into the pasta without the clams. The waiting time was almost 30 minutes, which is pretty cheeky when you consider that you are asked to go after 1st. Conclusion, not recommended.

On Sunday evening, 1 hour before closing, another pizza was quickly ordered and served very friendly. We will definitely try it again in peace ;-)

I loved it and had the pasta. My friend had a pizza which was really huge and delicious. The service was very friendly and courteous, I felt that I was in good hands ?

The food was very tasty. The pizzas are huge and the base is very thin, I can't say anything about the taste yet, I'll try it next time. The noodles are cooked to the point and not heaped with sauce. The waitress was very friendly and the service was quick - we didn't have to wait long. The music also suited the restaurant, not radio or any mix music like you would otherwise know, but Italian, matching the ambience.

Delicious food and good value for money. Unfortunately, due to the Corona rules, only up to 10 people are allowed to sit at a table. Therefore, as a group of 11 people, we had to split up on 2 tables. (Of course nobody can do anything for that. These are the rules) Three stars for it, because the staff was unfortunately very unfriendly.

Very friendly staff who responded to our needs and served us quickly and in a friendly manner despite the hustle and bustle. The permanent and monthly menu offers very good dishes, you can always find something good to eat and the pizzas are airy. Really great and original for a chain (also because you can see how they roll out their dough). With the parmesan you could be a little more generous and also serve it nicer.

Price-performance is unbeatable here! The pizzas are huge and still very tasty and inexpensive! We recommend

I've been to quite a few L'osteria restaurants, here in Esssen the ambience is unfortunately not as nice as in other shops in this chain, but the pizza was probably the best L'osteria pizza I've ever had ??? top ! The service was also very friendly and quick. We would come back.

Nice pasta and salad. The pizzas we saw on others' plates were really gigantic. Friendly staff and quick service. Very patient: no problem taking the time to decipher our not very good German :-)

I have to say yes, the noodle portions are really a joke ... BUT very, very tasty and worth a visit for the hot pizza alone. And super nice staff :-)

Very cozy atmosphere. Music very appropriate. Service nice and courteous. Special requests were fulfilled. Eating what was delicious. Price-performance ratio fits. Happy hunger!

Really cool pizza. About 50cm, but completely thin. The disadvantage is that you are constantly begged by people in a hurry to eat. Everything really goes by.

Very bad. I ate Gnocchi and first of all they didn't have original sauce then it had a strong fishy smell. Then it was a risotto full of oil. Never again

classic pizzeria. prices are ok. criticism goes to the bosses because one or two waiters work when is lunch time in a crowd. A compliment to a girl with black long hair and for her is 4, obviously she was alone when restaurant wass full and she was calm. Great job.

Rarely I felt 5 stars wasn't enough. Pistachio while waiting, luv it! Clean toilets? Check! Really good food? Absolutely check! I was surprised about the prices, I wouldn't mind paying 25% extra in the future. And not to forget; really nice personal!

Burnt pizza and slow service. Blamed the bad food on missing cheese, no cheese on the pizza according to menu.

The Pizza Hawaii was really big for a pizza that costs 10.60 Euros. But they don't cut it into slices for you, and they don't distribute the pineapple evenly, and it seems like they aren't using fresh pineapple.

Like it!!! Well located in an outdoor area!!! Ideal place to drink a cold beer, and stare people passing by!!! Just relax!!!!

Waiting time for beer and food just too long. The first beer came after 15 minutes, I was asked if I would like another when the pizza came ..... We then paid and said that the beer is no longer needed. Why did not we say something earlier? Because no waiter was there

Very tasty giant pizza with a nice thin bottom that you can share super! You can also half / half occupy the pizza and possibly take the rest with you. The salads and noodles are very delicious and there are not only these "typical" 0815 things. There are seats outside and inside - but I always recommend taking a big table when eating pizza. Otherwise it will be tight. The staff was totally friendly and thoughtful.

Nice tent with smooth and friendly service. The pizzas are huge (50 cm) and very tasty. The panna cotta is delicious! Price quality ratio is great. We will definitely come back here.

Nice restaurant in the center of Essen. Friendly staff, who are trying to do the best to serve you while smiling, so they deserve a bonus :) Very good German beer, and of course Italian pizza!
